Doctors Appointment @ 15 wks

Well Ladd and I just got back from out doctors appointment. We went in wanting to find out the sex of Jellybean but we didn't have an ultrasound scheduled, so we didn't have one. Dr. Smith said he really wanted to wait to do the next ultrasound until after 22 weeks so he can measure and see the growth of the body and head. So this morning we just had a Doppler, which is where they just listen to the heartbeat, and while we were listening we heard Jellybean kick a few times. Hearing a heart beat is great but not as good as actually seeing the baby on a screen! So I guess we wont announce the sex until after 22 weeks which is a while from now.

Another thing I need to update you guys on is that Ladd and I have finally moved in together. The apartment is kinda small but I think its just that way because there is still tons of boxes laying around with junk in them. Things that I think we should go through and chunk bc a lot of it look likes plain ol' junk. Haven't really decorated yet, kinda waiting for Ladd to finish putting together the entertainment center. Another thing is we have SOOO many picture frames! I have no idea where I'm going to put them all!! I just hate moving and it takes me a while to get into the decorating/fixing things up mood. I am going to mention that we got the "baby's room" done except for wall hangy things, but the spare bed is set up, the computer desk and computer is set up and a corner is cleaned out for the soon to be crib.

Another cute thing that happened was our first night the kitchen tabel was still piled high with boxes and food for the pantry that we had no where to eat. Not to mention that fact Ladd still hadnt figured out how to put the entertainment center back together. So our first dinner consisted of eating on top of a box and watching Jumanji off the computer!! Love it!!

Another dilemma we had was we had no pantry. And after combining Ladd and I's kitchen things we had no room in the cabinets for a 'pantry'. So we looked all over for a makeshift pantry. Finally at Target we found a metal shelf and when we got home and put it together it was HUGE!! So I took it back and got something that looks great and is small enough. Yay!! But other than that things are going great!! Now I'm just looking for another job, something that is easy and keeps me off my feet, unlike Carinos which ran me ragged. Any ways Ill keep you updated more :)

Heres the Downlow~~~>

Ok here it is for all you people that don't know whats going on. I am very excited to call Ladd my fiance. Over spring break we went to Cancun. Of course we planned this trip thinking we were going to get crazy drunk everyday and have tons of fun in the sun. Well around February 8th a little surprise changed our lives. The day after my birthday we, or rather I took a pregnancy test *bc that little fairy never visited*. Well surprise surprise!! It was a crazy, shocking birthday present, a little sceptical at first, but we are proud to announce we are going to be parents on October 11th.

Our next doctors appointment is on the 22nd and we are praying we will find out if it is a boy or girl. We have been hearing so many different stories from different people saying when its too early to tell. Hopefully by 15 weeks and a few days we will be able to tell something!! We're getting so antsy because we really want to start registering and buying things for the nursery. I am even antsier about when I'm going to start showing. I'm in that stage where I just look like I have that dreaded "tire" around my waist, not pregnant at all. But the thing is, I'm already growing out of my regular jeans and can hardly wear any of my athletic shorts. So things are getting a little snug which means Jellybean (what we named the baby till its born) is growing everyday!! Ill keep you posted on Jellybean as we find out more.

Back to Ladd "popping the question". Well since Jellybean has made a huge impact on our lives, we discussed marriage and rings and whatnot. I kind of knew it was coming but didn't know when or where. So it was the last day in sunny Cancun (FYI the last day was the only sunny day all the other days were gloomy and rainy and kind of chilly), and we were walking along the beach taking some last minute pictures and just admiring the gorgeous blue water. That's when Ladd turned to me and said, "Oh, there is one last thing I want to give you", and then he reached into his pocket and pulls out that little blue box and asks me to marry him. I'm not going to lie, I had butterflies and was super excited!! That put the icing on the cake for the trip, considering the weather and that I was somewhat sick the majority of the time. I had fun and now I'm engaged with a family on the way. I know its a little backwards but I don't think God puts responsibility on shoulders of people who cant handle it. I am definitely ready for everything life has to give me!!
