Greyson is HERE!!!

Ok I know its been FOOOORRREEEEEVVVVEEEER since Ive dated. Well I have a good reason!! GREYSON CAME!! I went into labor Wednesday night (24TH of September) around 10ish. We went to the hospital around 11pm because the week prior to this I had been having contractions that kept me dilated at 1 cm. The doctor said to come back only if the pain is unbearable or if my water breaks. Well the pain was bad but not unbearable but we went in to see if I had progressed from a 1 cm. (ps we went bc I was sick of be uncomfortable) I stayed over night and by morning I still hadn't done any thing. Well I we exhausted and determined to have the baby. Doctor came in around 7am and said "lets do this thing!" Best news Ive heard in a long time!! So at 10 am they broke my water and gave me Potocin. Through out the day they checked me and I wasn't progressing at all!! So around 4 I heard the dreaded news. :( I needed a C-section not only bc I wasn't dilating but bc Greyson was being stubborn and was face up when he was suppose to be face down. Well after a long week of contractions and hellacious back pain and discomfort, Greyson finally arrived at 5:39 pm on September 25th (My Big brothers birthday too!!). He weighed 8 pounds and 10 ounces and 21 1/4 inches long. For being delivered 2 weeks early he is a very healthy baby.

This is what happens when you like taking hot showers. My stretch marks turned blood shot the night before I go to the hospital. Nasty but they are better now!!

Since I was bed ridden for the first 24 hrs of Greyson's life, it was momentous for me to change a diaper. This was my first diaper in the middle of the night.
