Its Cold outside!!

Well the other night I was watching TV and I had Greyson in his little lounge jumper and I looked at him and caught him watching TV too. His jumper was turned kind of away from the TV so his head was turned towards it. I think its soooo cool he now starting to look at things more rather than just stare off in the distance. He is starting to follow things as they walk by, like me or Ladd even DaKota. Its great!!

Ok so "cold" weather has kinda hit Texas. Well last night I pulled out this cute jacket I got at Once Upon A Child and put his little hat on and he just looked so adorable. I had to take a picture which turned out to be a full fledge photo shoot :) Couldnt resist!!

Im just showing you guys the amazing rocker Ladd's parents bought us. Its so big and soft. Love it!! Something that will be around for forever!!

My friend Taylor took this picture and the next few. I was in the kitchen making bottles and she came up to me and said look at these pictures I took.

This one was just a really good looking picture of him. Only if he was sitting up straight. Look how clear his face has gotten. The Doctor said at 6 weeks it will be gone and derned if she was right. 6 weeks and it cleared up!!




GRUB TIME!!
So tonight was Greyson's first attempt at eating cereal. I had called my mom and see when we should start. I was worried he might still be too small but my mom said me and my brothers were eating rice the day we came home from the hospital and we are just fine so I thought we should give it a try. According to Gerber your child should be eating level 1 foods when they are an "assisted sitter." I concider Greyson an assisted sitter I guess..

Hey Im doing good this month. Already got 4 post!! Woohoo!! Ok so this past weekend Ladd went to the coast to go fishing with his dad and brothers. Well bc of the hurricane they couldnt go to their usual spot so they tried out an Island they know of. Well the wind was so bad it made it almost impossible to fish and whatnot so they came home a day early. Since Ladd was suppose to be gone for a few days my mom came down to help with Greyson. So of coarse we took lots of fun pictures with our free time :)

Here my mother gave him a "fo-hawk". He really didnt have enough hair to carry out the full effect because it didnt want to stand up.

My little brother went with Ladd to fish but the next morning after they got back he wanted to sleep in some more, guess Greyson wanted to too. :)

While I was getting Greyson's tub ready my mom was getting Greyson ready. When she came out of his room she had his robe on. I thought it was too cute and Ladd said "Look where's the bunnies? Its the future Hugh Hefner." haha so cute and yes he was naked underneath so we had to hurry to get him to the tub before he decided to shower us with his blessings :)

Since Brad and Ragan are a few months ahead of us it always seems they are doing the EXACT same things I wanna do. Like way before I even had kids I always wanted pictures against black backgrounds with the baby cradled in the dads hand. Brad has already done that and they have already done these pictures too but its ok. Im still going to get some good pics of my precious baby boy!!

Alright in the midst of this all, while Ladd babysat, my mom, Jordyn and I went to Houston to try on wedding dresses. After trying on some the most rediculous dresses I found "the one." Its unique and I absolutely love it!! I cant say too much about it but I am so anxious to show everyone!! April cant get here soon enough!!

Greyson is asleep, its blogging time!!

Ok there is a few things I skipped over the past few months. Well since Greyson is asleep I started to look through all our pictures and noticed some werent up on the blog. For all you bloggers out there without facebook here are some other pictures you are missing out on. Some are from way back and some are more recent.

My aunt and uncle got these for us for a baby shower gift. Since Ladd had recently found the new sport Golf, everyone thought this was so cute that now Greyson can pick up the game when he gets older..

My Ring Day

Ok So I havent explained to the full extent what happened on the day I got my ring. Well lets just say I woke up early that morning to go stand in line to pull a ring ticket. Well I had "pain" in my stomach with what I later found out to be contractions. Well I called the doctor around 10 am and he said not to come in till later that day. Well I went and go my ring at 3 and right after that we went straight to the hospital. But only to be sent home 8 hours later drugged up to stop the contractions and to knock me out.

My ring up close and personal. It doesnt have the diamond in it yet. My grandmother gave me a diamond to set in it. I get this done the next day because it didnt quite fit my swollen fingers and I was thinking while I couldnt wear it Id get it worked on!!

Greyson's First "Bath"

He still had his umbilical cord on so we couldnt pull out the tub just yet but with the help of Grandma Haehn we tackled the first bath time at home too. And not to mention this was my first "Bath" time too prior to this. On a side note I tried taking a shower at the hospital. With the C-section it was difficult so Ladd was in the bathroom helping me out. Well I guess it was the lack of food and still weak from the surgery, but I had fainted. So I was scared to try again till I had started eating good again. So this was the first bath for everyone that night..

This is where he pee-d all over me!! I mean even got the carpet and the sliding glass door!! He had a good shot!!
This is about when he starts pooping all over the changing mat. Keep in mind he just pee-d everywhere!!

Ok so there is pee on his face and all over the living room, along with poop on the the changing mat, and notice I really only have one free hand bc as I was getting ready to put the butt paste on he started pee along with poop moments later. So it literally took 3 girls to help with this diaper change!!

Ok so we had another incident where Greyson decided to pee all over mommy. So I decided since he managed to soaked himself and everything around him once again, we gave him a bath. His bottom was kinda red so I wanted to air it out a bit. Well only later to find out Greyson wasnt done doing what he had plotted to do!! haha atleast he didnt do it in the tub!!

So on Halloween Ladd and I decided to go out for the first time since my birthday. Well we pulled out all our attire and when we found Ladd's hat it was aweful!! Covered in dust!!
