RUN FORREST RUN!!

Ok as you all know we lost Riley 2 yrs ago this past August. Just so everyone has the back story here it is.

Riley was a VERY energetic dogs. ALWAYS on the go, making running paths through and around the yard. The ONLY time he would ever sit still is if he spotted something. Sometimes it would have been nothing. I always said Riley could stare at a spec of dust for hours. This one time our neighbor had her bird by an open window. I looked out that morning and saw him sitting and staring at that cage. A few hours later, still there, never moved a muscle.

When Ladd and his family would go on their annual fishing/river trip, Riley would swim in the river in the same spot, against the current, ALL day long! His nickname "Forrest" came from the simple fact that you would be sitting in camp and Riley would run thru, a few minutes or hours later, he would run back through the other direction. You never really saw him unless he was tired. You had to make him eat.
Riley just before he passed away.

 Riley as a puppy

Ever since Riley passed away, Ladd and I have both been wanting another German Short Haired Pointer. Ladd wanted a male and to name him Forrest. Well I wanted a female because they tend to be smaller and less rambunctious. So we decided to eventually get two, Forrest and Jenaye (Forrest Gump accent)

Well when we moved back to Taylor, the lady Ladd got Riley from had mentioned she had a litter coming up! At first we were like, no we cant we already had two dogs. But in the end we HAD TOO!! They were too stinking cute. There was only one female and was spoken for already so we picked out the cutest male, Forrest, which ended up being the runt of the litter.

So in the end we are very excited about our new addition. He has some big paws to fill. When Ladd took him out hunting on Opening day he didn't even spook when the guns went off. Ladd had said he acted like nothing was going on. He is getting extremely handsome in the face and his spots are starting to come thru as well. We hope he is as half as goofy as Riley was.

DOVE SEASON 2014

On Monday, Ladd's dad threw a get together for everyone out at the Bowers for Dove Season Opening day. Everyone had a BLAST! Had some GREAT food and even though the Dove were scarce, we had a ton of fun shooting skeet and "hunting"

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2014
So Greyson and Braelyn started school this past two weeks. Last year I got a cool idea from Pinterest and made a shirt he will wear for each First Day of School till he is a Senior. Ill make one for Braelyn too when she starts PreK. So the first set of pictures are from him starting PreK back in September of 2013. Then the second set of pictures is from this year!! He has GROWN so much!!

Braelyn had started a MDO program back in January after we moved to Taylor. So the first picture is from her first day, back in Jan 2014, and the second picture is from Tuesday! She is growing up way too fast. She lost all her cute pudgy baby looks!! So sad!!

Then while I was nursing one day I put together this little gem. Everyone thought Emma looked so much like Braelyn when she was a baby. Well after putting these three together I think she looks more like her brother!!
Going clock wise. Its Emma, Greyson, Braelyn.

But then again they don't look alike at all! haha.

CRAZY, WHAT? WHO??!!

In the past few months or actually since we announced we were pregnant with our third, ppl have called us crazy all the way to insane or even selfish for having that many kids and wanting more! I love my kids, I LOVE kids in general. I can not describe the love that God has put in my heart for my children and the ones to come. I am not selfish or insane. I am a mother who has too much love for my family. Yes at times I am beyond exhausted and wished I could pee by myself or even have 10 minutes alone, but you know what, too me THATS selfish!! God has given me three precious, and in my eyes, perfect children, what more can I ask for? Maybe one more :) haha. I do not love one more than the other and nor do I treat one different than the other. I try to give my children everything they need and want. From extracurricular activities to the best schooling to time with friends and family. Not ONE of my kids is missing out on something.

I couldn't ask for any thing more!!
