Greyson's Turns 3...

The BIRTHDAY BOY AT 7 AM!!

I woke him up with a special surprise. A present and Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes!! SUPER EXCITED ABOUT HIS PRESENT!!

I know its kinda weird but Greyson loves eating out of cool things. So I found these cool forks and spoon along with matching dishes like plates and bowls!!

He was THRILLED!!

Then we decorated a cake together. He wanted lots of sprinkles!!

So I told Greyson to ACT like his was licking the cake. Guess he didnt understand the concept of acting.. He licked the cake!!

Because we had opened a present this morning while Ladd was at work, I had another present for him for when Ladd got home.

He was so excited about his new Jammies he stripped down and put them on right there!!

Earlier today, Britany, my brothers girlfriend, came over and we went to Babies-r-us and Target and registered. It was so much fun going through all the baby stuff again and getting to register for frivulous things!! Then we came home and kinda picked out everything for the baby shower!! Its going to be so stinky cute I CANT WAIT!! :) EEEK!! Now I am super exhausted so I am going to bed :)

Game Day Ags!!

Yesterday Ragan, me and the kiddos all packed up and headed to College Station. On our way on 290 traffic was abnormally thick. When we approached the exit for Hwy 6 going to CS traffic was backed up considerably. There were a few times where we were sitting at a complete stop. Took us about 5 minutes to go about a mile!! The picture isnt really that good but you can see the traffic backed up in both lanes if you look close enough.

Then while we were out and about hitting up various tent sales, Kinley was EXHAUSTED!! The vent was blowing right on her making her hair "blow in the wind".. It was HILARIOUS!! No matter what this child is doing she will crack you up!! :)
This was Braelyn's first game day in College Station. We tried so hard to make step off but we were slightly out numbered with kids so time seemed to disappear!! Despite that I had to dress her up!! A white tutu and a TAMU onsie with a cute bow!! :) If Ladd was home he would have KILLED me!! But none the less she looked super cute and I got some good pictures of it!!

AAAAAANNND..... about 5 minutes later she craps all over it and it was the end of that outfit. :(

Rolling on the Floor LMAO!!

Ok so yesterday was when I discovered this unusual event. Greyson has been pottied trained for almost a year now, being accident free going on 3 months. Well yesterday he came up to me and said he had to potty and I asked if he needed help and he sternly said no. Well about 5 minutes later I was wondering what was going on so I peeped my head in and saw the most unusual sight. I thought maybe he had fallen in so I went and picked him up and made sure he was ok. Well he said he wasnt done and for me to get out. Well a few minutes later I peep in again and he has "fallen" in again. Thats when I realized he is laid back in the toilet like its a lounge chair. After I asked what he was doing he said this is how he does it everyday <-- Thats the new word he uses for explaining EVERYTHING! Everyday or yesterday. Anyways, I couldnt keep from laughing so hard I cried. I got a good video of asking him all kinds of questions. But pictures can say a 1000 words!! When he gets out his entire bottom is wet. And the craziest thing!! He flushes while he is in there. I asked why and he said thats how he cleans his hinny!! Isnt that what a "bide" is?? How and where did he learn to do this? And how does he know that flushing a toilet with his bottom in it will clean his hinny. Seriously?? Is my kid that smart to figure out something like this or just picking up on things I dont know he is watching on TV. Which is Disney channel 98% of the time..!!

Kids say the Darnest things!!

Yesterday Greyson was being silly and I caught Braelyn watching him and smiling so big!! You can definitely tell she is loving her big Brother!!

As I was cooking dinner last night, apparently Greyson went to use the potty in our bathroom. He came out a few minutes later holding this. He first came into the kitchen and asked, "Whats this mommy." Without looking I said, "I dunno?" (I was frying potatoes) Then Ladd pokes his head around the corner and said, "Yeah mommy, whats that?" Thats when I looked and found Greyson holding an open tampon!! Haha.. Not knowing what to say I laughed in panic. I finally played it off and said, "Well Greyson what do YOU think it is?" He gave an elaborate explaination and eventually put it in his ear. Haha.. Kids.. Where does he learn this stuff at!!

Dove Hunting

While we were at my parents house the first weekend of September (opening Dove season) Ladd took Greyson hunting for the first time. After discovering Ladd's old BB gun was too big we went out and got him a Youth BB gun, one that he could shoot. All I know he looked too darn cute!!

Ladd said he was a good bird dog!! When I went hunting with Ladd, he let me shoot at the birds the second half of the hunt. I know the bruise is a little low on my shoulder but thats from after I shot and the kick from the gun (that wasnt place tightly on my shoulder) placed the butt lower. None the less I had fun and am proud of my bruise. Lets just say I didnt limit out.. haha!!

In a Nutshell.. Part 2

In the past 2 months I have been SO busy. With Braelyn being here I feel like everytime I turn around Im either calling the Pediatrician or in the doctors office!! First, when Braelyn was about 3 weeks old we took Greyson to his favorite spot, Memorial City indoor PlayPlace. While playing Greyson managed to jump down wrong and hurt his ankle/foot. We didnt take him to the doctor right away thinking it was just a "at the moment" hurt. Well the next morning he was still not walking and couldnt put any pressure on it. So I had to take him to the doctor by myself!! It was an interesting sight walking into the doctors office. A nearly 3 year old on one hip and an infant carrier in the other hand. Then to add to it they sent us down the street for an X-ray!! So Dr. Leonhardt wrapped Greyson's foot with a "soft cast" type thing and he wore it for a few days, until we had result from the X-ray.

It took him 2 weeks and a pool party to get him to walk on it again!! It was the hardest 2 weeks EVER!! While all this was happening my sweet baby girl was beginning to get a rash on her neck in her fat rolls. It didnt get bad till after I took a 4 hour road trip to Rockwall to see my Grandmother. I once again called the pediatrician and she prescribed a powder and cream. When this didnt work I had to take her in on August 29th because it was so painful looking!! So after taking her off breakmilk for a week and put on soy it still didnt work but it wasnt getting any worse. So for the first weekend in September we went to my parents house for my mom's birthday and labor day. After a week of no change I figured it wasnt my breastmilk that was causing the rash so I decided to half it with soy for her bottle. Well around 1030 when I went to change her diaper I noticed there was an awful raised rash COVERING her body!! I freaked out thinking she was going to stop breathing any minute from an allergic reaction. So off to the ER it was. Turns out the proteins in my breastmilk made her develop Eczema!! After adjusting the formula to nutrium based formula (no milk proteins at ALL) she is doing much better with the help of cortizone and Aquaphor.

Greyson had fun at my Aunt Sandra's house. Uncle Jerry and Greyson became best buds!! I think the huge "tractor" played a factor and the massive box of Gold Fish!! haha none the less I was able to help/see my grandmother and Greyson was able to play and have fun!
